You’re a natural when it comes to creating the best employee experience – whether it’s remote or in an office? Then we are looking for you as People & Culture Advisor (m/f/d)! As the People Operations Manager based in Berlin, you will be focusing on supporting the employees in this location, but you will also be part of the broader People team, collaborating with your peers in Melbourne and Oakland.

Aufgaben

  • Establish a great employee experience by supporting employees as first point of contact along their employee lifecycle
  • Organize onboarding and offboarding and keep our HR system and employee files up-to-date
  • Provide recruitment support an manage all HR related topics
  • Collaborate closely with the global People & Culture group to develop and implement policies, programs, processes and trainings
  • Manage payments and prepare monthly bookkeeping, being the contact person for our accountants
  • Manage relationships with partners and vendors as well as purchases in relation to office / team needs
  • Drive improvement of processes to make the work of our team more effective
  • Plan and execute team events
  • Last but not least be the keeper of the culture and a trusted person employees can turn to if they need help
Qualifikation

  • Proven experience in a People/HR operational role, ideally in an international settings, preferably with a degree in HR
  • Knowledge of German accounting, payroll and social security practices
  • Knowledge of German labor law is a plus
  • Good IT Skills and experienced working with Mac
  • G-suite knowledge and experience with HR tracking systems (e.g. BambooHR) are a plus
  • German native speaker with fluent proficiency in English
  • Aptitude in decision-making and problem-solving
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative and responsibility
  • Outstanding organizational abilities and high attention to detail and excellent interpersonal skills
