The appliedAI Initiative is Germany’s largest initiative for fostering the application of AI technology in the German industrial landscape. We shape Europe’s innovative power in AI together with leading companies and tech players. We do this through close sparring and interaction with our partners on neutral ground based on delivering a unique set of assets and individual services. One aspect of this is to build and maintain the backbone of our activities. The operations team is responsible for best in class processes, tools and outstanding operations. Following our principles, the team is responsible for the exceptional team culture and environment in which we all can work, excel, and grow.

Your mission

• Improving operations and managing the tools used at appliedAI
• Drive the team processes from onboarding new employees to creating a positive work environment
• Continue to establish an outstanding team culture in a fast growing and highly dynamic environment
• Own operational work to streamline and optimize appliedAI and its programs
• Act as an interface to UnternehmerTUM central office functions (Finance, HR, IT) to ensure effective collaboration and smooth operations

Your profile

• 2-5 years of work experience in a comparable role
• Exceptional communication and organizational skills
• Enjoying to define, establish and improve administrative processes
• A team player attitude and a willingness to learn new things
• Fluent German and English in word and writing
• Knowledge and/or no fear of digital tools (e.g. Google workspaces, Slack, Notion.so, Salesforce, and more)

IT WOULD BE ADVANTAGEOUS TO HAVE:

• Experience or having worked in a people driven organization - in the best case software development or even artificial intelligence
• Experience in communications and people management

What we offer
A highly qualified and motivated team of ~55 people is on a journey to change the rapidly evolving European AI Landscape. ~25 of us have a strong scientific, engineering or CS background.
