Tasks

As a Medical Writer at EVOCAL Health, you will create high-quality scientific and regulatory documents, and use your medical and scientific expertise to support our scientific communication, grant and regulatory approvals and act as a in-house expert for quality writing:
  • Writing, editing, and formating our scientific and regulatory documents (quality management, non-clinical, clinical, regulatory), and coordinate the review, approval, and publication process
  • Leading and preparing high quality grant funding applications based on profound biological, medical and/or scientific knowledge,
  • Supporting the submission and post-submission process of publications, and (if required) revision of documents with regard to content, completeness, consistency, and standards compliance
  • Provide training and guidance in good scientific writing practices to our interdisciplinary team for optimal quality
  • Develop, write and edit structural requirements for white papers, regulatory documents, marketing materials, and other quality publications

Requirements
  • Relevant university degree in life sciences, medicine or medical sciences with experience in cardiovascular and cardiometabolic diseases
  • 3+ years of experience as writer in the health, pharmaceutical or biotech industry
  • Knowledge and experience of clinical trials and clinical research, and the ability to interpret and summarize complex data in a clear, logical, and concise manner
  • Proven ability in organizational, time management skills, and interpersonal skills paired with attention to detail and consistency
  • Expert skills in MS Office and data visualization applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
  • Native-level scientific writing skills in English and German

  • Proven problem-solving and analytical skills, and ability to handle ambiguity
  • Ability to establish solid relationships with cross-functional teams
  • Strong interpersonal skills with sensitivity to changing personalities and priorities
  • Ability to improvise, work efficiently and respond quickly to changes and a dynamic work-flow
