As an innovative and internationally oriented manufacturer of premium intraocular implants (IOLs and artificial iris prostheses including the CUSTOMFLEX® ARTIFICIALIRIS), we develop, produce and distribute medical devices in order to provide the human eye the best possible vision.

In order to strengthen our Clinical and Medical Affairs Department at the Erlangen site, we are looking for an

MEDICAL WRITER - OPHTHALMOLOGY (M/F/X)

This position is a full-time permanent position and reports to the Vice President Clinical, Medical and Regulatory Affairs.

Main Responsibilities
  • To perform Clinical Evaluation Reports (CERs) in accordance with the MDR 2017/745 and relevant MDCG guidelines
  • To conduct systematic literature searches
  • To contribute to the creation of post-market surveillance plans/reports and SSCPs
  • To evaluate clinical study data
  • To create scientific documents and articles
  • To contribute to the preparation of clinical study documents (e.g CIP, IBs
