Purpose & Overall Relevance For The Organization

Lead and drive various small strategic, regional HR Initiatives (Projects). Support identifying, developing and implementing regional/market strategies for HR, in close collaboration with the respective Business Partners (Executive-Level) and with the Vice President HR to ensure effective and efficient implementation of all HR tools, processes and standards across all markets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the development, formulation, implementation and management of Initiatives and Strategies for HR Europe, based upon Global HR and Market strategies
  • Support HR Processes and Implementation Plans to support any major Reorganisations/Restructuring.
  • Drive global harmonization and standardization of processes and tools within the market HR teams across all Brands and Categories thereby reducing complexity and increasing transparency and alignment across the locations and functions.
  • Support the HR organizations within the Markets/Clusters and ensure they are applying and/or implementing all applicable adidas HR- standards and best practices in daily work, on-time and within budget.
  • Drive and implement Culture and Change Management strategies for the relevant programs to ensure a smooth implementation of the necessary changes in the organization.
  • To support and facilitate smooth cooperation among the entire market HR Teams and business stakeholders even though not having reporting-line responsibility.
  • Establish and maintain the regional/market HR SharePoint, processes and tools to ensure effective availability and sharing of best practices, programs and experiences market wide.
  • Regularly monitor, track and report on key HR metrics on a market basis in order to maintain a market HR Data-Base and develop/maintain regular status reporting.
  • Monitor progress in achieving key HR initiative milestones and objectives in collaboration with the Senior Management Team of the Markets and Brands.
  • Measure and monitor progress on defined measurable outcomes and HR KPIs.
  • Support the Director – HR Projects & Diversity in driving global HR strategy and locally relevant market initiatives.
  • Support the Senior Manager – HR Projects with the implementation of HR communication strategies to facilitate open and consistent communication with our employees ensuring that the HR strategy and objectives are understood on all levels and behaviours are lived.

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
  • Proven track record of successfully implementing and managing Projects and Initiatives in organizations across geographies and culturally diverse groups
  • Analytical skills for strategy development and business planning including executive summary
  • Interpersonal skills: Very good communications and negotiating abilities, as well as presentation and relationship management
  • Commercial and/or business acumen (e.g. human resources, sales, marketing, finance or controlling)
  • Decision-making ability and determination with initiative and pragmatism
  • Fluent in written and spoken English. Skills and abilities in other European languages are a plus
Requisite Education And Experience / Minimum Qualifications
  • University degree with business or Human Resources focus
  • Minimum 3-5 years of HR, Business and/or Project Management experience within large and international organisations, ideally in Apparel/Fashion/Footwear or FMCG
  • IT skills: Advanced MS Office Skills are a must
