  • Expand and develop new features for our biomedical image analysis toolbox Voxelytics* Develop and implement state-of-the-art deep learning algorithms to solve real-world problems in 3D biological microscopy datasets* Design, own and deploy highly scalable ML services for working with petabyte-sized image datasets* Experiment, iterate, and apply the analysis methods on customer datasets with direct client feedback* Engineer robust and fast data processing approaches to scale ML models from workstations to HPC clusters* Work with a high degree of freedom and self-organisation in a tech-savvy team* Build tools for customers from neuro- and life sciences and support the biomedical research community, * You know Python and its ecosystem, especially oriented to data science and Machine Learning* You are familiar with the core concepts and algorithms of supervised learning for image analysis* You take pride in teaching and leading from team mates, and enjoy constructive peer review in a respectful environment* You have proficiency with Git, GitHub, and agile software development* Your have strong oral and written language skills in German and English* You bring applicable knowledge of building deep learning applications for image analysis, e.g. with Tensorflow or PyTorch, NumPy, Sklearn, OpenCV* Experience with scientific computing on HPC clusters or previous working experience in life science industry or research is a bonus, Our team primarily consists of professional software developers and hard, techy problems inspire our work.
