The candidate will be responsible for consultative selling for the most important clinical flow laboratories in Germany, especially focused on competitive accounts. Reporting to the Sales Manager DACH region, this person will be the main contact for all decision-makers of the assigned Flow Cytometry laboratories, from actual users to the head or owner of the laboratory. The main objectives of this person are two: First, gain competitive strategic accounts (80% of the time) and the second to be the internal consultant for IVD-R related questions to support the existing sales team in order to facilitate our customer’s transition to meet the new IVD regulation in the future. The candidate will have the support of our entire marketing and application support team.

The position requires a person with profound knowledge of Clinical Flow Cytometry as well as commercial skills and experience to understand the needs of our clients, develop and propose tailored solutions and ultimately convert those accounts to Beckman Life Science customers.

Responsibilities:
  • Direct sales responsibility for Clinical Flow in Key Accounts.
  • Support and counsel to existing sales team with respect to IVDR Focus on market share expansion in Clinical Flow Cytometry.
  • Tailored product presentations utilizing the entire Beckman Life Science Clinical Flow Cytometry portfolio
  • Support and counsel for internal and external stakeholders in IVD-R related topics
  • About 50% travel
Qualifications:
  • Education: PhD in Biology-related science (e.g. Biology or Biochemistry), Medical school or Technical Assistant with a proven record in Flow Cytometry, laboratory organization and flow-related analysis and reporting.
  • Profound knowledge and practical experience in Flow Cytometry and/or leukemia/lymphoma diagnostics.
  • Professional experience in routine diagnostics business.
  • Language skills: excellent English and German in word and writing.
  • Great communication skills, needs to be great in presenting and explaining, entrepreneurial personality, flexible, accountable self-confidence and independent attitude.
