Job Description for Junior Manager for Webshop and E-Commerce

We are looking for a working student (20h/week) to help take care of and optimize our online shop and support us on Zalando. As our Online Shop Manager, you will be responsible for reviewing and creating content and listings on our website and Zalando, as well as general product management. You will work with the team to offer a consistent and coherent shopping experience across all our platforms. You will be responsible for enhancing usability, optimizing conversion and testing new strategies. Your role will contribute in large part to the further growth of the online shop and thus to our company growth overall.

Tasks

Your tasks:
  • Help with the transition of our online shop from Woocommerce to Shopify.
  • Help with the integration of an inventory management system
  • Maintain website content and Zalando listings and regularly check their quality and correctness (product descriptions, images, videos, etc.)
  • Further develop of the design and branding of our shops
  • Propose and create new shop features in close cooperation with the team
  • Carry out competitive analyses and sales reporting
Requirements

Your profile:
  • Excellent German and English skills
  • Enrolled student (min. 3rd semester) in business administration, economics, media informatics, online media, business informatics, online marketing, management or another business-related course of study
  • Relevant experience in the area of UX, product management or webshop optimisation and the development of online shops or content management systems
  • High level of commitment, initiative, reliability and independence
  • Comprehensive knowledge of MS Office
  • Knowledge of Shopify, Woocommerce, HTML, Google Analytics, or SEO are a plus
