YOUR FUTURE ROLE

The Developer (Associate) position is within the SAP’s AI platform development team. We are looking for a talented software engineer with Kubernetes affinity, DevOps mindset, and with the ability to learn new things quickly.

Your Tasks Would Include

It is expected that you grow to take technical ownership of your deliverables, including engineering and architectural aspects.

• Implement components and micro-services for scalable and fault-tolerant cloud-native systems
• Build cloud platform and tooling for streamlined machine learning lifecycle
• Write Kubernetes operators for orchestrating for ML workloads
• Automate hardware-accelerated infrastructure for ML (GPUs, TPUs)
• Automate the continuous delivery on all major cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Contribute to the Site Reliability Engineering processes
• Work in a diverse team practicing agile development and DevOps culture
• Innovate quality assurance and security tooling and processes
  

YOUR PROFILE

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent education
• Coding proficiency in one or more of Python, Go, Java, or C++
• First experience with Kubernetes and Docker
• Experience with one or more cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Understanding of REST APIs concepts and micro-service architectures
• Test-driven development attitude
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; a team player
• Excellent English language skills and good German language skills
• Getting things done mindset

• Quality Assurance experience
• Secure Software Development experience
• Experience with building ML pipelines
