The Role
- Supporting the Head of Audit in the daily management of audit staff
- Responsibility for the successful execution of the audit plan as well as for ad-hoc engagements
- Planning, leading, and managing complex audit assignments, supervision of audit projects, definition of risk-based audit areas, audit business transactions, workflows, processes, and control systems with no need for supervision
- Determination of deficiencies and vulnerabilities to be remedied, analyzation of audit results, proposals for solutions, closing meetings and ensuring appropriate follow-up measures
- Collaboration on departmental and inter-organizational projects
- Compliance with the audit policies and the respective standards (independence, integrity, confidentiality, truth and fairness, security, economy, system conformity)

Requirements
Desired Skills / Experience:
- Superior analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Intercultural skills and sensitivities necessary to work effectively in global organizations.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills (verbal and written) in English and German (desired)
- Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to challenge
- Ability to deal effectively with all levels of management and staff
- Outstanding organizational and time management skills
- Experience managing multiple assignments and projects with varying deadlines successfully is essential
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
- Willingness to travel
- Audit certification (CA, CPA, CFA, CIA, CISA) will be an advantage
