For our R&D Headquarters in Berlin, we are currently looking to recruit a

Innovation Specialist for Anti-Vibration
Concepts (m/f/d)

YOUR TASKS
- Initiate, lead and conduct projects for the development of

anti-vibration and anti-NVH products, specifically for large
reciprocating machines, from design concept through design
phase via prototypes until series production

  • Responsible for project management
  • Interface to customer: Assure close customer contact and constant
customer feedback during the development of new products,
define technical interfaces with customers, organize and conduct
tests on customer machines
  • Identify future technologies form market observation and from
discussions with customers and deliver input to the future product
roadmap
  • Derive, document and implement design guidelines for future
products
  • Guide, educate and develop the R&D team on relevant technology
developments in the field of vibration technology
  • Maintain und improve our network within the scientific

YOUR PROFILE
- PhD with focus on NVH/Vibration/Engineering Mechanics or 10+

years working experience in R&D (anti-vibration products or other
fundamental engineering mechanics)

  • High motivation to define, design and test future products in the
field of vibration technology
  • Proven track record of successful customer cooperation during
development projects
  • Ideally experience with anti-vibration solutions for large
reciprocating engines, e.g. for mining equipment or marine
industry
  • Maintain close collaboration with the R&D team in Berlin and
Dalian (China) and with other technical experts within
Knorr-Bremse Drivetrain division and eCubator
  • Business level of German and English (verbal and written)
  • Willingness to travel (~10%)
  • Experience in project management for development projects is a
plus
