Then we would be delighted if you became part of our international team and supported us as full-time Hardware Development Engineer for IIoT / Vibration Systems (m/f/d) in Höchberg (near Würzburg).

What we expect from you

  • Education: You have completed your master’s degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics with a specialization in mechanical engineering, a degree in mechanical engineering or a comparable course of study.
  • Experience and knowledge:You have experience in electrical engineering, instrumentation and control, IIoT and sensor technology. You stand out due to your profound knowledge in the field of electrical engineering and you have very good programming skills (Matlab and/or Python). Ideally, you already have experience in software development and methodologies and are familiar with PLC programming and the use of C++. Knowledge of structural dynamics and mechanics is desirable.
  • Personal strengths:As Development Engineer (m/f/d), you quickly familiarize yourself with technical topics and new software, you are committed, customer-oriented and communicative. A self-dependent and reliable way of working is a matter of course for you and you bring along a high degree of conceptual skills. Good German and very good English skills round off your profile.

What you can expect

  • Your future at Wölfel:As a Hardware Development Engineer (m/f/d) in the field of active vibration reduction and monitoring systems for wind turbines you have a wide range of responsibilities. You will support in technical project processing and take over the design as well as the configuration of electrotechnical components and control cabinets.
  • Your expertise is required:You are also responsible for the further development and standardization of our hardware product portfolio. You will develop software modules in the environment of system-related applications (focus: PLC). Your tasks include the technical processing and coordination of development work in the area of active vibration reduction and monitoring systems as well. Our innovative products are used all over the world, from cold Scandinavia to the coasts of Thailand.
