We are looking for a charismatic and experienced sales talent to win new customers for our global travel payment solution. Connected within travel industry (tour operators, travel agencies, GDS providers or retailers) is a prerequisite for this strategic sales role as well as knowledge of the commercial needs and benefits regarding payments within the travel industry.

Tasks

The role involves identifying potential clients through leads from partners, international colleagues or creating own connections.

The main focus is the generation and processing of a sales pipeline and the subsequent independent management of contract negotiations with strategic, global companies within the travel service industry.

  • Identify and acquire new global travel trade customers through social selling activities, leads and existing partner network
  • Actively initiating and conducting initial meetings that include our solution benefits and the commercial framework of our payment solution
  • Independent pipeline management and the associated documentation and reporting of customer activities
  • Build/establish networks across the industry and in core segments
  • Customer specific strategy planning creation and execution of business calculation under defined own competencies.
  • Administrating prospects in CRM

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years working as a Sales Manager/Hunter or Business Development Manager in the travel or payment industry
  • Ability to define and implement strategic sales concepts
  • In-depth knowledge of the travel industry ecosystem and relevant payment processes
  • Excellent negotiation skills and ability to manage and protect the interests of multiple stakeholders
  • Practical experience of working with a strategic sales framework e.g. Miller Heiman
  • Goal-oriented and high level of personal responsibility and self-confident demeanor
  • A university level academic degree (Bachelor’s degree or equivalent) is an advantage
  • English mandatory, Spanish an advantage, multilingual skills preferred
  • Preference for an international work environment, willingness to travel worldwide
