Your tasks
CUREosity is looking for a Game Designer with a passion for games, a knack for coding (nice to have) and storytelling, and an understanding of the industry, market and target audiences.
  • Creating2D and 3Dassets for stimulating and motivating therapy games under the supervision of the Lead Artist

  • Resource-efficient optimization of assets for use in mobile VR applications based on Unreal Engine

  • Scribble, design, style guide compliant implementation

  • Independently implement complete application designstechnically in collaboration with UX and concept designers and developers

  • Practical semesters are possible

Education
Bachelor’s degree in Game Design or ideally completed a training as a design assistant, digital media designer, game designstudies or professional experience
Experience
  • You have first practical experience
  • You have ideally completed your training as a design assistantand can provide us a portfolio of your sample projects
Know-How
  • Confident handling of common 3D software (Blender, Cinema 4D, Maya or 3Ds Max)

  • Familiar with Adobe Creative Cloud software

  • You are stylistically confident and can design in a mutually agreed CD

  • Good knowledge ofUnreal Engine, environments, lighting and texturing (or previous experience in Unity or other game engines)

  • You are ateam and independent player and have fun with new challenges
