Job Description

A vacancy for a SAP Cloud Administrator (d/f/m) has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space. The successful applicant will join the ERP/BI Backbone services team.ERP/BI Backbone services is an international team supporting service and project delivery across the SAP landscape for Airbus Defence and Space - We make it fly! Airbus Defence and Space is engaged in an ambitious business transformation program to deliver the next generation SAP solutions and needs more talented people who can make a real difference to how we support, enable and deliver a diverse range of SAP solutions and services to our customers. A role in ERP/BI Backbone services is an opportunity for you to grow and to develop your career in a progressive and innovative environment.

Tasks and activities

  • Service Ownership for a range of SAP cloud services with a focus on governance aspects
  • Technical Incident management working in close collaboration with SAP
  • Periodic SAP release upgrade management
  • Monitoring system performance and investigation of connectivity issues impacting user experience
  • Change and Transport management
  • Role Authorisation concept and user management
  • Project management in the frame of on-going landscape enhancement and maintenance activities
  • Integration of SAP cloud services with other cloud services and on-prem systems
  • Acting as subject matter expert for SAP Cloud topics

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience..

  • 3+ years hands on SAP technical experience including SAP basis, role and user management
  • Knowledge and awareness of cloud connectivity and ability to collaborate effectively with cloud technology specialists and architects
  • 3+ years’ experience of working in a range of implementations, upgrades and migration projects
  • Hands on experience of working with SAP cloud solutions
  • Natural problem solver with a desire to master technical topics and a willingness to share knowledge across the team
  • High motivation and willingness to take ownership
  • Comfortable working independently and also collaborating with an international team
  • Bachelors or Master’s degree in: Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science or similar qualification.
  • SAP Certifications a bonus
  • High standard of written and spoken English; fluency in other languages a bonus

  • Working location will be at one of our core country main sites with potential for some Home Office working
