Your Main Responsibilities
- Significantly influence new device concepts for switchgear used in EV vehicles.
- Processing of FUSA relevant tasks in coordination with the FUSA Safety Engineer.
- Implementation of external and internal requirements (e.g. functional specifications) of solution approaches in electronic systems consisting of a variety of units/assemblies with different functionalities as well as interfaces to mechanical assemblies.
- Definition of system requirements and accountability of associated elements throughout the V- Model development process ISO 26262.
- Development of HW units considering automotive relevant EMC standards (CISPR 25, ISO 7647, ISO 11452, ISO 10605 as well as EE standard ISO 16750-2).
- Ensure on-time and functional provision of components/groups for further development steps (e.g. model ordering).
- Observe latest technologies, electronic components and tools available on the market for HW development, test them and use them after coordination if necessary.
- Analyze impact of changes to product relevant standards and regulations.
- Create test specifications and test modules during development.
- Adapt existing HW modules according to technical specifications or customer requirements in line with requirements and production.
- Creation of the necessary documentation.
Your essential skills we are looking for:
- Electrical or mechanical engineering degree
- Several years of professional experience in the field of product development of electronic devices and drives in automotive desirable
- Good MS-Office and CAD skills
- Ability to work on projects in international teams
- Flexibility and team orientation as well as communication skills
- Independent, structured and self-reliant way of working
- Knowledge of functional safety according to ISO 26262 desirable
- Very good written and spoken English, German desirable
