At Evotec’s headquarters in Hamburg, Germany, the Global Controlling team is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated

Corporate Process Controller (f/m/d) - Global Controlling

Full-time and permanent

As a Corporate Process Controller within Evotec, you are a Finance Business Partner for managers and controllers in our international Finance organization up to the CFO.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Support Controlling for the group Sales/COGS P&L-line and Execute segment including group-wide project monitoring and close co-operation with Financial Accounting

  • Being responsible for creating, documenting and monitoring group-wide guidelines for all relevant Controlling processes (SOX compliance)

  • Structuring, implementing and optimizing Controlling processes with special focus on cost accounting activities and project/ sales controlling

  • Initiate, support and execute specific finance, controlling and cross-functional change projects

  • Leading part in integration of new businesses and entities (PMI) into the existing financial process and group reporting structure

  • Provide meaningful monthly analysis and reports and play an active role in the Forecast and Budget processes

  • Close and multinational collaboration with operational project managers and other key functions throughout the organization

Your ideal qualifications:

  • Master’s degree or Diploma in Finance or MBA

  • Profound working experience in Controlling/ Finance in a global business environment

  • Proven track record of experiences in Controlling process implementation, optimization and documentation as well as PMI

  • Good understanding of business processes and change management with the ability to apply this experience in problem-solving and improvement processes

  • Experience in internal control systems and SOX compliance is an advantage

  • Excellent knowledge of finance, budgeting and (cost) accounting control principles

  • Profound knowledge in Project and Sales Controlling and its accounting under IFRS

  • Strong analytical, organizational and coordination skills

  • Excellent computer skills with fluency in spreadsheet and presentation programs (familiarity with IFS, Cognos TM1 and Cognos Analytics is of advantage)

  • Very good communication and presentation skills

  • Ability to interact professionally both in English and German on all levels of the organization as well as across all geographical and cultural specifics
