We are looking for someone energetic, curious and interested in driving and executing the foundations of effective communications in the DACH & NL regions, as part of a broader regional communications team. The individual should also be meticulous and process-driven, keeping projects and the team on track with reporting, and eager to contribute to brainstorms. This role will be based in Berlin.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for driving comms initiatives, crafting narratives and pitching stories. This is the role for you if you are an agile, resourceful and creative professional who is passionate about cross-functional project management and relationship-building, problem-solving and planning, as well as the organisation and management of information and resources.
Responsibilities:
- Support the broader regional Communications team in managing and executing local communications plans
- Assist with developing press materials, briefings, press statements, pitches, presentations, events and more to effectively tell our story
- Conduct research and curate ideas for future projects and/or events
- Work with local PR agencies to ensure meticulous execution of tasks
- Daily media coverage monitoring, compiling and reporting post-campaign results
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams on newsroom blog posts, media pitches, newsletters, and campaign launch materials
- Proofreading and content preparation
- Maintenance of the contacts database
- Manage numerous projects with tight deadlines
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or related field
- 3-4 years of communications experience (B2C PR/Comms agency experience preferable)
- Understanding of local markets and trends
- Good understanding of the media landscape in the DACH region
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in both German and English
- Ability to handle multiple projects and positive about working in a fast-paced environment
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to prioritise projects, clearly communicate progress and deliver on time
- Self-starter and an independent worker, with a strong bias to action
- Creative and energetic with a passion for all things popular culture, social media and tapping into the cultural zeitgeist of the internet
- Willingness to take on different responsibilities and tasks as needed
