The GLOBALG.A.P. brand is owned and operated by FoodPLUS GmbH; a limited liability company registered in Cologne, Germany. FoodPLUS GmbH is responsible for managing the GLOBALG.A.P. portfolio of smart farm assurance solutions and the related day-to-day operations – from standard setting and certification management to integrity and marketing. FoodPLUS GmbH also serves as the legal entity holding the international copyrights for the GLOBALG.A.P. brand and the GGN consumer label which stands for certified, responsible farming and transparency.
We are looking for a Communication Manager (m/f/d)in full-time (39h/week) as a parental leave substitution to start immediately. You will be responsible for delivering a range of on and offline communications output to support the delivery of the overall B2B and B2C business strategy for the GGN label.
What you will do:
- Development of messaging and content around the label while actively participating in the generation of marketing assets and collateral to support adoption
- Development/refinement of a strategic social media strategy for both our B2B and B2C channels; monitor all channels, control the dialogue, and take part in constructive interaction with users (community management)
- Develop and manage content for the GGN.ORG website
- Manage appropriate sponsorship opportunities to help drive further awareness and adoption of the label
- Work with sales team/retailers to develop and activate in-store strategic campaigns to help elevate awareness of the label “on the ground” with consumers
- Support event activation programs to ensure visibility of the label
- Analyze activities and offer reports to management showcasing the outcome of all efforts
What we are looking for:
- Vocational training or university degree in the field of communication, media, marketing, or equivalent
- 2-3 years of professional experience in a comparable role, incl. creating social media creatives (at a minimum experience using Canva) and advertising on Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn
- Proficient in German and English (both C1 level)
