Cloud Engineer (m/f/d)

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Enabling and Independence - You provide infrastructure and processes for the engineering teams so they can deploy, monitor and debug their software products by themselves

Research and Education - You actively research new technologies with a view to integrate them into the existing technology stack, as well as keeping the CTO and teams updated on new cloud-based solutions you are implementing, providing training to all as required

Troubleshooting and Prevention - you successfully identify root causes, fix and document problems, and implement preventative measures

Smooth Running and Security - You always adhere to company security guidelines when managing our cloud environments, and ensure application performance, monitoring, uptime and scale

YOUR PROFILE

Knowledge of Architecture - You have practical experience with complex cloud architectures, and know how to script “self-healing” cloud architecture with Infrastructure-as-Code solutions

Experience and Versatility - You are well versed in networking, system administration and security best practices, and comfortable working in both Linux and macOS environments

Proficiency and Skill Set - You are able to work in at least one programming language (Ruby, Python, Go or Bash), and ideally also have cloud certification from a major provider

Language - your written and spoken English is fluent, and you are motivated to learn or improve your German language skills
