Chief Engineer on Board (m/f/d)

Your Responsibilities:

  • The Chief Engineer is in charge of operation, maintenance and repair of all technical systems of the ship
  • You are responsible for about 45 crew members belonging to the engine department and the control and organization of the technical ship operation
  • Furthermore, you are responsible for the preventive maintenance of engines and units of their department, inclusive necessary repair works

Your Profile:

  • You have studied ship operation technology and have several years of work experience in position, ideally in passenger shipping
  • You have all of the necessary certificates according to STCW 95
  • Your knowledge of the English language is very good and you have well-founded computer skills
