We are looking for:
A new team member for one of our portfolio companies, a B2C e-commerce company located in Hamburg. They meet customer expectations by providing a full-cycle customer journey selling complete high-quality, house-related projects bringing nature into homes.

Tasks

  • Being responsible for the further development and key figure-based control of a growth category of our portfolio companies
  • Monitoring the development of the market, competition and customer requirements and identifying trends and innovations
  • Making strategic decisions based on internal and external analyses
  • Acquiring and negotiating with national and international suppliers, e.g. on prices, delivery conditions and promotional calendars
  • Developing and implementing strategic projects in close cooperation with your colleagues
Requirements

  • A degree in business administration or training in a relevant subject area
  • Strong interest in category management and already having 2 years of professional experience in category management or purchasing
  • Being enthusiastic about online retail
  • Strong analytical skills and being proficient in Excel
  • Being highly motivated and showing initiative and assertiveness
  • A very good command of written and spoken German and English, as well as strong communication skills
  • Please note that we are looking for support in the Hamburg office of our portfolio company. Eligibility to work within the EU is required as well.
