Your role as an Associate Account Executive:
Are you ready to join a fast growing, disruptive, SaaS company that is revolutionizing the real estate industry? Are you motivated to make a difference and bring the real estate industry to net zero? Are you motivated to solve problems for your customers and find them the solutions they need? As an Associate Account Executive you’ll own and manage the strategy and execution of the whole prospecting and customer identification sales process. You’ll be a key part of the Sales team, driving sales goals and contributing to building out the product as well as the department. This position requires an ambitioned, talented communicator who wants to build a future career in sales. Qualified candidates will need to interact with our ecosystem, Sales Teams, and cross-functional departments to maximize speed to market and sales for BuildingMinds platform and solutions.
In detail, you will
- Be an integral part of the Sales Team with the mission of bringing the real estate industry to carbon net-zero by finding customers and guiding them through their journey of decarbonization
- Managing of the full sales cycle: from prospecting and qualifying new business through high volume outbound reach-outs, to scheduling calls & help to prepare proposals
- Become the go to person of Building Minds & creatively manage lead generation.
- Define & refine the whole Outbound strategy, scouting technology & platforms to find targeted prospects and the precise touchpoints for sales development (ie: phone, email, and social touches - Outbound)
- Respond, engage, and qualify leads and inquiries (Inbound) based on their current business challenges and needs using targeted questions
- Schedule discovery calls and strive to continuously improve the sales development process demonstrating a predisposition to lead and think independently
- Review the lead funnel and understand which strategies and tactics are best suited to convert our leads into customers
- Gain insights into the purchasing processes and personas and identify our ICP (ideal customer profile) while refining our value proposition and pitch
- Funnel back all relevant customer feedback to all the other departments to help us advance our product and develop a clear customer-driven product feature roadmap bridging customer requirements and product
What you will need
- You have first experience in the field of sales, preferably in B2B and/or in Real Estate, or alternatively a very strong motivation to learn what it takes to succeed in sales
- You are ambitious, curious and a persistent self-starter who wants to build a career in sales
- You are open communicator, have a genuine customer empathy and not afraid of unsolicited reaching out to multiple executive levels within an organization
- You are a digital native, not scared to explain a complex software solution to potential clients
- You possess excellent written & verbal communication
- You are an enthusiastic team player
- You bring a proactive way of thinking, you are organized and possess strong time management skills
- You possess a thirst for knowledge and growth in a start-up environment a passion for and understanding sustainability topics
- You are analytically and technically savvy and have the confidence to independently generate lead lists, manage mailing campaigns, track their progress and draw meaningful conclusions
- Nice to haves: understanding of the mechanics of a B2B SaaS business and confidence in handling of CRM systems and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
- Required- BSc or equivalent. Big plus Msc. or equivalent.
- You have very good knowledge of English and German both written and spoken
