We are currently looking for a

Project Quality Manager for our location in Mannheim , Germany

As Project Quality Manager (m/f/d) you are responsible for quality planning and implementation throughout the entire project duration of Onboard projects. As a cross-sectional function, the position offers very good development opportunities and a broad insight into the project execution down to the development of systems, products and services.

Responsibilities:
Interface in all quality matters

Coordination of internal and external quality issues

Implementation of quality planning in the project, taking into account the customer and contract requirements.

Planning and support of the qualitative assessment of critical components in the project.

Project interface for Engineering Quality, Industrial Quality and Supplier Quality.

Guidance of the project team on quality issues

Conduct quality related training (e.g., 8D / Ishikawa / ...)

Conduct internal process audits

Support for external audits

Coordination with the safety function in the project

Support in the preparation and execution of internal and external gate reviews (DB Q Gates / DFQ process)

Open 8D cases and drive the solution process (Kx Management)

Open safety cases and drive the solution process (K1s Management)

Ensuring the quality of products and deliveries in the project, internally and externally (test plan/EMP planning)

Responsible for the parts list of suppliers (in connection with EMP and test planning)

Ensure and manage the REX process (risks and opportunities)

Qualifications:
Completed university studies (mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, etc.) or technical training with several years of professional experience

Experience in using quality tools

Solid expertise in rules and standards in the field of electrical installations in Germany

Knowledge of the relevant specifications for interlocking systems in Germany is an advantage

High operational readiness and resilience as well as independent operation

Good team and communication skills

Very good knowledge of MS Office and similar standard applications

Native language knowledge of spoken and written German

Very good written and spoken English skills
