Are you passionate about procurement management and ready to join our team in the area of Dresden and actively support our fast-growing business? We are looking for a project procurement manager who is responsible for the overall fulfilment of the procurement-targets and commitments in the project, including time, cost and quality.

Explore your tasks and responsibilities

  • Setting-up the Project Procurement Execution Plan in conjunction with the Project Execution Plan
  • Resource planning of the necessary Project related Procurement resources in alignment with the respective functional lead.
  • Responsible for quality, costs and on time delivery of the material and services for the Project and mitigate schedule risks related to long lead and critical path items
  • Periodic progress monitoring and reporting
  • Manage claims and variation orders with vendors in close cooperation with Commercial Management and Purchasing
  • Support Purchasing in contract negotiations
  • Participates in periodic Project meetings with Quality, Engineering, Scheduling, etc.

Show your expertise

  • Successfully completed business or engineering degree or commercial/technical training
  • Several years of professional experience in project purchasing, ideally in plant construction within the Semiconductor-Business
  • Good knowledge of EPC/ M projects
  • Good knowledge of project contract management and contract law (HGB, BGB, VOB, HOAI and international)
  • Fluent German and English, both written and spoken
  • Advanced PC skills especially MS Office and SAP MM
  • Analytical thinking, independent working style and excellent negotiation skills
  • Independent recognition and solution of problems
  • Team and communication skills, ability to work under pressure
