The Project Manager Operations (d/f/m)will be leading strategic projects in the operations area and coordinate global initiatives involving our affiliate LIXIL International Operations. This role will report to the Leader PMO Fittings, LIXIL International. The Project Manager Operations (d/f/m) will be an important sparring partner for the LIXIL International Operations senior management team to discuss problems and structure solutions.

Your tasks:

  • Take over responsibility for identification and optimization potential across divisions with short and medium-term as well as strategic orientation
  • Lead strategic projects in the area of operations and support overarching initiatives in this area
  • Coordinate global initiatives involving our affiliate LIXIL International operations in Asia, Europe, IMEA and America
  • Conduct market, competitor, productivity, and feasibility analyses for decision-making purposes
  • Identify, develop, evaluate, and implement manufacturing/supply footprint strategies in a heterogenous environment that will strengthen our position in the industry and support our key product areas under consideration of among others
    • x-to-order concepts
    • local-for-local strategies
  • Take over responsibility for identification and optimization potential across manufacturing / supply footprint and provide new project proposals with supporting value proposition and strong customer focus
  • Define and calculate Business Cases
  • Be a sparring partner for the LIXIL International Operations senior management team to discuss problems and structure solutions
  • Prepare regular ad-hoc reports, presentations and meetings and discuss solutions on board level
  • The close collaboration and alignment with senior management will be the fundamental for day-to-day work

Your Profile:

  • A degree in business administration or (industrial) engineering or comparable degree
  • Work experience for a major consultancy in the operations area for a period of at least 2 years
  • Overall work experience of at least 3 years
  • Work experience with leading project teams
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to work in a very international environment
  • Broad operations knowledge
  • Structured personality with ability to communicate on all hierarchical levels, spanning from the shop floor to senior management
  • Fluent in German and English
