Description

In the Conti Machinery (CM) complex tire building and special machines are developed, manufactured and brought into service worldwide. The department Mechanical Development and Design at our location Hanover-Stoecken develops innovative machinery concepts and solutions for our tire production and in close cooperation with the internal hardware and software engineering. The scope of tasks reaches from concept development with our colleagues in tire development and the plants to final acceptance of the machinery in tire production worldwide.

In Order To Strengthen Our International Team, We Are Offering a Position As Project Engineer (m/f/diverse) Development & Design In This Exciting Environment With The Following Tasks
  • Development and mechanical design of special machines for tire production
  • Development of new procedures and tire manufacturing processes
  • Design of machines in accordance with the applicable standards and rules, in particular the Machinery Directive
  • Optimization and automation of the known machines and processes
  • Consulting of our internal customers in procedural, application-specific and safety-related questions
Qualifications
  • Engineering degree (Dipl.-Ing., Master or Bachelor) in mechanical engineering or mechatronics, ideally with majors in development and construction technology
  • Experience in the construction of special machinery
  • Calculation and design of machine elements
  • Excellent skills in developing and drafting concepts
  • Knowledge in materials science and tribology
  • Automation and handling technology
  • Design and application of mechatronic systems (robotics)
  • Experience in using CAD and PDM, preferably Autodesk Inventor and Vault
  • In-depth knowledge of MS Office programs
  • Very good communication and analytical skills
  • Fluent in English and German language skills (written and spoken
  • Willingness to travel worldwide and valid driver’s license
