Aufgaben

We are looking for an experienced Product Owner who takes responsibility for the entire product lifecycle from roadmap planning, definition of requirements and rollout, all the way to maintenance and continued optimization of our solutions. As Product Owner you will work closely with our teams of talented engineers, UX designers, data analysts and stakeholders to further McMakler’s growth and develop our digital products. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to use your specific skill set and your passion for product management to define the status quo and have a major impact on the future of McMaklers’ products across the entire lifecycle.

The role also involves the following tasks:
  • You take on strategic responsibility for the entire product lifecycle - adapting a “you build it, you run it, you own it” mindset
  • You create roadmaps for our innovative digital products and work on requirement definitions with our stakeholders
  • You work closely with our development teams on implementation and deployment to ensure quality releases
  • You engage in User Research and collaborate with our Product Design team to create meaningful and delightful experiences for internal and external users across our product landscape
  • You plan our short- and long-term objectives alongside our tech teams and act as interface between different departments while overseeing timely and quality-focused roadmap delivery
  • You work on improving and optimizing our agile and cross-functional product environment by relying on your understanding of business needs, data-driven analyses and usability research
Qualifikation

Qualifikationen

A minimum of 3 years of desired product management experience in building and launching successful internal and consumer-facing products

  • Technical background and strong understanding of balancing technical and business needs
  • Prior experience in engineering or hands-on product development is highly desired
  • Ability to effectively gather and prioritize user requirements from different sources and work with various business stakeholders (like Marketing, Operations and Customer Support)
  • Previous experience leading a cross-functional scrum team of engineers and collaborating with Product/UX Design teams as well as external consultants in an agile environment
  • Prior knowledge of data analytics and engineering practices and structures to deliver quality digital solutions
  • Very good command of the English language, German is a plus
