Job DescriptionIn the role of a Principal Consultant, you will anchor the engagement effort for assignments, all the way from business process consulting and problem definition to solution design, development and deployment. You will be pivotal to problem definition and discovery of the overall solution and guide teams on project processes, deliverables. As a thought leader in your domain, you will be the key advisor to architecture and design reviews. You will anchor business pursuit initiatives, client training, in-house capability building. You will have the opportunity to shape value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.
Required
- Over 12 years’ experience in Supply chain management with considerable duration on Order Management systems
- Expertise in IBM Sterling OMS system with atleast 4 years of association with IBM Sterling
- Good understanding of the order management systems from brief through to execution
- Proven project management experience
- Experience in effective stakeholder engagement and working in multi-disciplined teams.
- We are looking for a success-oriented candidate who has a proven track record of Functional consulting order management domain.
- The candidate will have to define business/process models for clients taking into account Industry best practices
- Work closely with global teams and business stakeholders in the industry to drive business workshops to define requirements, develop product backlog and elaborate functional specifications for an IT solution.
- Lead the consulting team for client engagements and actively support /lead sales opportunities.
- Proven experience in agile methodology (Scrum/Kanban). Should also have worked on at least 1 agile tool (eg. JIRA).
- Have led teams for client engagements and actively supported /led sales opportunities & RFPs working closely with senior managers, client engagement managers and sales teams.
- Should be ready for extensive travels within and outside the county. Should have experience in working in a multi-cultural team spread in multiple time zones.
- Should have proven academic records and display thought leadership with deep understanding on latest trends in retail industry
- Conversant with spoken and written English.
- B1 level German language capability preferred
