Responsibilities:

  • Your task as team leader Network Operation Center consists of the technical management of 6 external contractors, i. e. the planning of work processes and resources, the definition and control of the agreed work goals as well as the organization and maintenance of relevant processes. You guarantee compliance with the service levels and ensure operational information management. You also support budget planning and budget control for the team.
  • In detail, you and the dedicated resources are responsible for ensuring the 24/7 network monitoring in the 1st level and for the quick rectification of system errors. The team works in 3 shifts in accordance with the applicable legal regulations, you do not work in shifts. In addition, you work closely with the 2nd level areas of the Customer Services Division. In this context, you can provide support to ensure that network errors are rectified as quickly as possible, if necessary with support.

Qualifications:

  • A degree in electrical engineering, communications engineering or computer science or a comparable technical education
  • Several years of professional experience in the NOC environment
  • Experience in operating network platforms
  • Good knowledge of the network operation of a Germany-wide transport network
  • Management experience in a support organization & experience in creating and managing shift plans
  • High customer and service orientation
  • Assertiveness and organizational talent
