You are part of an international multidisciplinary team that designs, develops and validates marine systems. Within this team you are responsible for the technical design of specific parts. The scope of responsibility depends on your experience, knowledge and ambition.
- You define the functional behavior of the marine communication and combat system elements in Model Based System Engineering (MBSE)
- You check, create, and maintain the specifications including system interfaces and subsystems and derive the system architecture
- You are in close collaboration with customers, suppliers as well as colleagues in system architecture and system engineering
- You are responsible for the risk, cost and safety analysis and solution development for technical issues during the development, test and integration phase
- You apply MBSE principles in all designs phases as well as agile methods according to SCRUM
- Degree in Engineering
- Three years of working experience in Model Based System Engineering (MBSE) UML/SYSML
- Experience in engineering complex systems
- Understanding of MBSE methods (like Arcadia or Enterprise Architecture)
- Used to work with tools (like Capella, Rational Rhapsody or Eclipse Papyrus)
- Knowledge of the following standards is a plus: DO-254 (HW), DO-278 (Ground Systems), DO-331 (model-based development), DO-178 (SW)
- Programming skills are bonus
- Good communication and social competencies in order to work in a multidisciplinary team
- Fluent language skills in English and German
