Duties
- Formulates and implements marketing policy and procedure for MWR programs. Recommends priorities, develops plans and directs the execution of market research, analysis and assessment. Develops long and short-range marketing operation plans.
- Evaluates effectiveness through attainment of goals and analysis of business trends and market share. Develops sales, promotional and merchandising strategies, brochures and pamphlets. Identifies and analyzes customer needs and satisfaction.
- Assists program managers develop internal customer service training programs. Directs subordinate staff in assisting managers market and promote their programs.
- This includes advertising, event marketing, sales campaigns, sales promotions, radio and television production graphic art design, and development of MWR publications.

- A one year probationary period may be required.
- Must be able to work on weekends and holidays.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a USAREUR drivers license.
- Must be able to travel frequently to other Garrisons.
- May be required to lift up to 40 lbs.
Qualifications
OR
Completion of the requirements for a master’s or equivalent graduate degree in marketing, advertising or closely related field. Specialized education developing market research programs, data analysis, business practices and economic principals.
Highly Preferred Criteria -
- Minimum of 3 years of work experience as a Marketing Specialist
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud with emphasis on Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and A365
- 2 years of working experience with Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation (FMWR)
Best Qualified Criteria -
- Possess 1 year experience in Web Content Management, Social Media, and Google Analytics
- Ability to write, design and edit articles, magazines and newsletters
- Possess experience with development, implementation, and execution of Strategic Planning?
