What You’ll DoAs a highly motivatedMarketing & Communications (M&C) Manager Central Europe (CE), your work will focus on innovation and transformation topics. As a member of our CE M&C Strategy & Campaigns team, you’ll develop the campaign strategy for your topic areas in the Central Europe region and will ensure an effective orchestration of global marketing content in a Central European setting. As the driving force behind all innovation and transformation content, you’ll design and activate 360° campaigns. You’ll strategically develop and tactically activate your campaigns in close coordination with the CE Leadership Team, the CE M&C Leadership Team, and global M&C teams. In addition to being responsible for selected campaigns, you will use your specialist knowledge and experience to contribute to the continuous development of our campaign capabilities and actively support the expansion of our data-driven marketing approaches and the continuous development of the cross-functional way we process our topics.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Designing and implementing content and planning campaigns for our annually adjusted strategic positioning with central topics and messages, capabilities, targets, and performance indicators
- Communicating and steering messages in the local CE markets with a focus on Germany, using a 360° approach across all internal and external channels and detailing the guidelines, communication framework, and timelines for suitable channels
- Creating and interpreting thought leadership content and editorials in collaboration with subject matter experts and practice group management teams, leveraging existing BCG knowledge
- Conducting analyses and benchmarking in close collaboration with our Marketing Intelligence team to determine the effectiveness of the campaigns
- Acting as an interdepartmental contact person for your topics and dynamically driving the further development of our cross-functional marketing and communication activities and strategic activations
- You know how to develop and design attractive content and media assets for specific channels and target groups.
- You are familiar with the topic landscape surrounding innovation and transformation and how it relates to BCG’s business priorities, and you are able to effectively present complex topics that require explanation using target group-appropriate storytelling and other suitable stylistic devices.
- You impress with your initiative, high quality standards, motivation, and flexibility.
- Your competent and professional demeanor wins over internal and external stakeholders, and you can confidently lead them through challenging discussions.
- You are flexible, work well under pressure, and are extremely reliable.
- You’re a great team player.
- You have completed an academic degree with a major in marketing or communications.
- You have at least five years of relevant professional experience.
- You are familiar with all common business and office tools and have experience using them for professional marketing and communication work.
- Your written and spoken English and German language skills are excellent.
- You have a good knowledge of the market and a solid understanding of how the (German) media landscape works.
As a member of the Strategy & Campaigns team, you’ll report directly to the CE Marketing & Communications Senior Director. Your team is part of the broader CE M&C team, working closely with the CE Leadership Team and global M&C teams. Together with your team, you will work with other contacts throughout the company; these can be different departments but also function leaders such as Managing Directors & Partners, Marketing Directors, or colleagues within and outside BCG’s M&C organization.
