We are looking for a Manager Strategic Market and Business Intelligence (all genders) to join our small but great Group Strategy - Strategic Planning team. First and foremost, the Manager Strategic Market & Business Intelligence (all genders) will be responsible for the content and organizational development as well as the maintenance of a group-wide Market & Business Intelligence platform (MBI platform). Furthermore, he will contribute to the development and continuous review of the long-term strategic goals of KWS Group and its individual business segments through diagnostic or forward-looking market analyses.
This vacancy is a permanent and full-time vacancy. The starting date is as soon as possible.
The place of work is at our HQ in Einbeck, Southern Lower Saxony.
Your New Tasks and Projects - Responsibility meets Challenge:
  • Responsibility for the further development of content and organization as well as maintenance of a group-wide Market/Business Intelligence platform (MBI platform), including the expansion of diagnostic and predictive functions.
  • Provision and further development of storyboards with strategically relevant information for internal stakeholder groups
  • Ensuring proper management, updating and quality control of data, information and storyboards on the platform
  • Definition of strategic goals for the platform
  • Independent execution and presentation of (cross-group) market analyses, including strategic conclusions
  • Technical support for the preparation, updating and analysis of data in the context of projects and in particular strategic planning
  • Identification and acquisition of relevant market research data, including contract negotiations
  • Participation in the development of the KWS Group strategy as part of strategic planning
Your Exciting Profile - Competence meets Personality:
  • Preferably an academic degree in business information systems, agricultural economics, business administration or computer science or in a comparable course of study
  • Relevant and several years of professional experience in the area of market/business intelligence
  • High affinity for computer science, data management and analysis, as well as market and business intelligence, data management, data science, business development or strategy development
  • Proven knowledge in (agile) project management
  • Ability to work in complex structures and in an international context
  • Very good analytical skills as well as a structured approach
  • Independent and proactive way of working keeping the big picture in mind
  • A very good command of English (both written and spoken). German language skills are an advantage
