In order to strengthen our Air Logistics training activities on a global level, Kuehne + Nagel are looking for a Learning Developer in the Corporate Air Logistics Training team.
Your Role

The job will involve the management and creation of the company’s corporate Air Logistics training content. This will include maintenance of our training system, authoring and distribution of online material, as well as exercises and learning aids to be used in live training.
Your Responsibilities
  • Maintenance of a corporate training software environment
  • Design and preparation of training modules for corporate air logistics training programmes
  • Preparation of associated hand-outs and online support materials
  • In cooperation with the air logistics training team, the design of exercises for use in software training environments, and the alignment of these exercises with the content of the training material
  • Updating of content as systems are developed
  • Coordinating the translation or customisation of materials, in cooperation with the global training Team
  • Posting and maintenance of materials on the company’s e-Learning Management System (LMS)

Your Skills And Experiences
  • At least two years’ experience in an operational freight-forwarding environment
  • Preferably experience of training other people and/or knowledge of learning processes
  • Experience in the use of presentation software (Adobe Captivate, MS PowerPoint, or similar), as well as in the maintaining software applications
  • Analytical skills and the ability to break down a process into its constituent steps and to summarize information clearly
  • Organizing teams and motivating people, without having direct authority
  • Working according to deadlines, without direct supervision and flexibility to work on multiple projects at the same time
  • Good command of the English language (written and spoken)
