zDirect is responsible for building up our B2B marketplace with all its facets. We are rapidly expanding, with multiple opportunities for development. At its core, Content Compliance teams are ensuring that partner’s articles onboarded to our platform are in agreement with our compliance, quality and performance requirements. It is one of the key operational components of the platform as it guarantees ease of access for partners’ products and thus contributes to developing the largest and freshest fashion assortment for over 35 million customers in 20 markets.

As the Lead Content Procedures & Trainings, you will ensure that Zalando’s marketplace offers a trustworthy, inspiring and safe shopping experience for our customers. You will manage multiple aspects related to external training and content guidelines, assuring that trained content is understandable, applied by our external teams and meets our Zalando ethical, legal and quality standards. Additionally you will work closely with external teams to achieve and improve predefined quality targets. You are responsible for a team of >3 persons.

WHERE YOUR EXPERTISE IS NEEDED

  • Ownership of internal and external procedures and training.
  • Support your team in daily operations like managing several external vendors’ workforce in near and offshore locations.
  • Ensure an efficient and positive internal team environment, create a meaningful feedback culture.
  • Point of contact for internal and external teams to share and train stakeholders regarding content- & quality-related topics.
  • Active participant and contributor in the creation of various guidelines, such as content guides for new and existing categories.
  • Consult stakeholders from other areas of Zalando, such as Productsafety, Legal, Sales.
  • Manage overarching projects, participate in strategic initiatives, and collaborate with other teams.
  • Close collaboration with the QA team through supporting initiatives and coaching.
  • Contribution to the internal goals in terms of quality and customer satisfaction.

What We Are Looking For

  • Relevant experience in content moderation/online training and/or quality assurance related fields.
  • Proven track record of 5+ years in a similar role, ideally in a fast-paced environment (e-commerce and fashion retail is a plus).
  • Great verbal and written communication skills in English (German is a plus) with a curious and self-starter mindset. Strong stakeholder management and people skills.
  • Excellent educational background with a degree.
  • A strong sense of ownership and focus on delivering good results.
  • You are solution-oriented and are able to get acquainted with the topics easily.
