Tasks

  • Development of integrated laser system for coherent lidar together with photonic team
  • Development of highly coherent integrated laser control system
  • Testing of integrated laser system and control systems prototypes
  • As a part of engineering team provide fabrication of laser system prototype in cooperation with external partners
  • Support laser group leader in the projects for precision opto-electronic systems development
  • Development of the requirements and specifications for electronic systems and components of coherent lidar
Requirements

  • Degree in Engineering, Electrical engineering, Computer Science or related fields
  • Deep knowledge of analog electronics design and applications for highly precision frequency control of semiconductor lasers
  • Deep knowledge of semiconductor lasers frequency control methods
  • Hands-on experience of low noise laser driver development and testing
  • Knowledge and experience in application of advanced simulation tools
  • Knowledge of development and application of frequency estimation algorithms, integrated photonics and of standards for opto-electronic system and components documentation development
  • Knowledge of development and application of frequency estimation algorithms, integrated photonics and of standards for opto-electronic system and components documentation development
  • Fluent business English skills, fluency in German is a plus
