Description



  • Design and specification of architectural building blocks and modules for 5G NR wireless communications systems

  • Algorithm design, performance evaluation, and specification

  • Definition and specification of HW/SW procedures

  • Architecture development and functional mapping on hardware, RTL/FPGA and software

  • Requirements definition and management

  • Communication and collaboration with design teams, specification and implementation of 1st level verification/test

  • Technical support during integration and system testing
Qualifications

  • University / University of applied sciences / University of cooperative education: Master degree/PhD in Electrical Engineering or Information Technology required

  • Main focus on Telecommunication Engineering desired
Experience/Knowledge

  • Physical layer in wire¬less com¬mu¬ni¬ca¬tions systems, in particular for cellular radio networks (5G NR, 4G)

  • Algorithm development for OFDM transmission systems, using Python, MATLAB and C/C++

  • Understanding IC/FPGA hardware and DSP firmware implementation
Additional Skills

  • Self-dependent, yet team-oriented working style with communication skills

  • Analytical thinking, problem solving mind-set

  • Understand complex hard- and software scenarios

  • 2-5 years of hands-on ex¬pe¬ri¬ence
