Overall purpose and objectives
The main target of this role is to take care of all product training activities for customers and employees by assessing, creating and rolling out all kind of training and learning measures.
Main tasks and duties
- Facilitate basic and comprehensive product and specific training to clients, users, newly hired employees and existing staff thus supporting product and system releases as well as developing and delivering training in the field of leadership and soft skills in case needed
- Apply state-of-the-art technologies in the ongoing delivery of training programs; use tools that motivate and engage learners and learning across a landscape of cultural diversity
- Partner with all business line leaders and subject matter experts to assist with design of training for new and existing training plans
- Plan, design, coordinate and execute all facets of training logistics, training content creation, and training content delivery (full spectrum of learning approaches) including managing resources and stakeholders
- Maintain and refine the global learning platform ensuring the most relevant and up to date learning plans and training resources are available for learners
- Take care of roll-out and communication for these measures and further develop the Emarsys Academy brand
- Select, train, support and evaluate internal “trainers” (content owners)
- Track and update training records and reports via tools such as Lesson.ly, Confluence, Teams, Zoom and other applications that support the eLearning initiatives of the organization
- Evaluate the effectiveness of delivered programs, communicate outcomes and provide recommendations for improvement
- Assess regional business needs and align training activities as well as define a learning strategy to achieve business objectives and establish a learning organization
- Work cross-functionally within the organization to identify skill gaps, training opportunities and develop/deliver sustainable training solutions and recommendations
- Create training material at a general and department specific level (such as PowerPoint Presentations, Videos, Manuals, Reference Cards, etc.)

General requirements
- University degree or comparable qualification
- Several years of experience in a training/pedagogics role or as a trainer
- Experience in the field of SaaS and Software training serves as an advantage
- Highly methodical expertise and broad knowledge of e-learning platforms & new and emerging (online) training tools
- Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to manage multiple initiatives and meet deadlines.
- Excellent presentation, communication and documentation skills
- Capable of working independently across cultures in a clear and structured manner
- Excellent English language skills
Work environment
Will work primarily in an office environment.
