Aufgaben/Verantwortlichkeiten

The job holder has the responsibility to provide basic and advanced customer trainings for our metabolomics solutions including all hard- and software.

Main focus is on the QTOF and timsTOF instrument platforms in combination with coupled HPLC systems and the respective software. Topics include targeted and non-targeted metabolomics applications as well as lipidomics. The area of responsibility includes customers in Europe as well as occasionally service colleagues worldwide
  • Perform basic and advanced customer application trainings for our Metabolomics solutions based on LC-QTOF and LC-timsTOF systems with introduction to all software packages delivered, both in Bremen and at the customer site
  • Generation and continuous improvement of training materials
  • Close cooperation with the adjacent departments, e.g. sales, development and Metabolomics business unit - for fast adaptation of e.g. new workflows into the training curriculum
  • Preparation and performing customer trainings in various formats (in-house, on site, online, individual trainings as well as multi-user trainings)
  • Further development of virtual training formats
  • Development of support videos and occasional participation in user meetings and conferences
  • Structured feed-back to internal departments for continuous improvement of our products

Qualifikationen

  • Practical experience in the use of mass spectrometry and HPLC instruments
  • University degree in the field of life sciences, chemistry, instrument-based analytics or similar education
  • Joy in teaching with the ability to handle different experience levels
  • Interest on biochemical/analytical research fields to understand customer’s requests
  • Very good communication skills and personal charisma with integrity to build trusting relationships with customers and colleagues worldwide
  • High self-motivation and the willingness to work in a global team and contribute to a common goal
  • Excellent command of English, both written and spoken
  • Good IT skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
