Tax Specialist

Main Purpose & Scope of Job This function will support the Team Lead Tax in all tax related matters. Provide support to ensure tax compliance across the group, tax accounting, preparation of tax reporting and providing technical advice to the Finance team.

Core Duties & Responsibilities:

Tax Accounting

• Ensuring tax compliance across the Group with the support of local tax advisors
• Prepares & maintains tax provision schedules
• Calculation of deferred tax
• Clearing of VAT accounts
• Reconciling tax accounts
• Update tax database

Tax reporting

• Submits VAT returns

Technical Guidance & Support

• supports the optimization & automatization of TAX processes
• Provides technical guidance to the Finance department Knowledge/ Skills/ Experience/ Leadership Competencies

Knowledge/Skills/Experience:

• Completed training for Assistant Tax consultant (Steuerfachangestellten) or Bachelor Degree with specialization in tax
• Minimum of 2 year work experience Personal Attributes/ Soft Skills
