Your Role and Responsibilities
Environment
- Drive Server and Storage Services and Hardware revenue
- Create a culture of collaboration and success
- Be an integrated member of the S1/S2/Ecosystem sales teams to enhance client experience and build end-to-end client solutions including Hybrid Cloud services
- Collaborates, engages, and leads with a team including Sales Management, Sales Specialists(S1 and S2), Business Partners, & Influencers in order to identify and progress opportunities
- Understands the clients needs and capable to architect a client solutions which focuses on Hybrid Cloud services to increase the client’s experience & lead to new or accelerate the progression of current servers & storage opportunities
- Identifies and establishes ongoing relationships with the IBM Technology team that generate an increase in IBM Lab Services revenue in assigned Market(s)
- Leads and prioritizes revenue based contracts from the qualify stage through signings which will lead to an increased pipeline for the IBM Lab Services delivery organization
- Includes face-to-face sales and selling through and/or with Ecosystem Partners. Cross-Brand-responsibility (Lab Services services for IBM Z and IBM Storage), focusing on key roadmap opportunities
Required Skills
- At least 3 years of professional technical expertise with IBM lab services offerings around IBM Hybrid Cloud infrastructure
- Ability to Define & Deliver Quantifiable Client Outcomes measured in Revenue Growth, Client Advocacy (NPS), Opportunity Identification and Progression
- Step up with Great Confidence & Resilience to Win
- Ability to Use Technical Capabilities & Experiential Selling
- Completed IBM Global Sales School (GSS)
- At least 3 years of proven, successful track record of identifying, developing and closing business in IBM Z and IBM Storage, either in a Sales or Business Development role
- At least 3 years of experience developing and presenting compelling value propositions (Skill Level 4)
- Negotiation Skills (Skill Level 4)
- Leadership skills
- Ability to develop new market opportunities (prospecting)
- Effective collaboration, communication & interpersonal skills
- Thorough analytical capabilities, with problem solving and flexible mind-set
