Summary
For the department "Laser Warning Engineering" we are looking for a "System Engineer for Electro-Optical Sensors (f/m/d)" as soon as possible at the Taufkirchen site.

The department is responsible for the development of electro-optical sensors for the detection of military laser systems. The entire life cycle of the products is covered, from the proposal phase to the development of demonstrators / prototypes, product and series development as well as series support and necessary adaptation developments. The product range includes sensors for aircraft, land vehicles and ships.
Your Tasks
  • Collaboration in system conceptualization, evaluation and definition of customer and system requirements
  • Design of system and subsystem components and their interfaces
  • Definition of verification and qualification tests
  • Integration, commissioning and testing at subsystem and system level
  • Creation of development, product and verification documents
  • Assumption of responsibility for work packages in the transferred work environment for cost, quality and risk assessment
  • Technical management of external subcontractors
  • Customer support during order processing as well as during integration and acceptance
  • Participation in field tests and measurement campaigns as well as customer demonstrations
Your Profile
  • Completed university studies in the area of electrical engineering, computer science or comparable
  • Relevant professional experience in the field of systems engineering
  • Experience in one of the following areas: electrical assemblies, signal processing, hardware and software, verification or test concept development
  • Knowledge in the application area is an advantage
  • High degree of initiative
  • Analytical and structured way of working
  • Very good communication skills, ability to work in a team and social competence
  • Business fluent in English and German
