Sr. Manager Originals Footwear – AKA and Cluster Strategic A/C Exclusives & Inline Rapid Creation (m/f/d)

Purpose & Overall Relevance For The Organisation

To generate profitable market share and net sales growth while respecting the image of the adidas brands.

Functional

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create a tailored and dedicated offer to strategic AKA partners in Europe by taking consumer insight coming from these accounts and turning them into specific concepts, products
  • To establish professional and personal relationships to the relevant key decision makers and buyers of the assigned customers as a prerequisite to making adidas Group the ‘preferred supplier’
  • To establish a collaborative mindset and way of operating with the dedicated AKA teams, European team and Global team
  • To represent the assigned accounts internally as an ‘ambassador’ towards all functions and vice versa and help manage all interfaces;
  • Drive the development of account strategies, formalizing them in Strategic Account Plans.
  • To collaborate with the in-line merchandising team to create seasonal GTM plans that include SMU programs to support the overall franchise strategy and seasonal plan
  • To monitor sell-out and the order book continuously to ensure reliable and cost efficient supply for the account as well as to identify and capture selling opportunities to the account;
  • To drive new business models with a multi-channel approach connected to OTG 2025
Controlling
  • To measure progress on own KPIs;
  • To report to all superiors
  • To monitor and report on customers and competitors activities and propose/initiate/take actions;
  • To provide realistic plans and forecasts on customer performance;
  • To ensure customer compliance with agreements;
  • System support, maintenance and communication to all stakeholders
Personnel
  • Collaborate and drive amongst peers and cross functionally topics such as team development and engagement;
  • Act as adidas Group ambassador with all stakeholders internally and externally
Key Relationships
  • Channel teams – AKA and DTC, Market Europe, Range Architecture, Sales Strategy & Development
Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
  • Exposure: sports, sales, marketing either in apparel/fashion/shoes or FMCG;
  • Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Good market & product knowledge
  • Good business acumen
  • Proven product know how and understanding of SMU processes
Requisite Education And Experience / Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor/Master degree;
  • Ideally between 3-5 years of Key Account experience;
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills;
  • Fluency in English is essential; German would be beneficial;
  • Advanced knowledge of the MS Office package, with a focus on Excel and PowerPoint;
  • In possession of a valid driving license;
  • Passion for sales and sport.
