We are offering a motivated Software Engineer Web / Developer (f/m/d) to join the software development team in Waldbronn, Germany. If you are a graduate with significant experience, we are also happy to consider your application. An exciting opportunity to technically lead and create the next-generation technology of solutions in the lab environment. Our aim is to investigate, identify and develop new products, processes, and technology that will enable a smoother laboratory workflow for our customers to gain trusted answers and insights efficiently.

In order to succeed in this role, you will apply software design skills to create a framework that will guide the software project team to investigate and drive the development of new products, processes, and technologies. In addition, handle the coordination of the integration of product/process design work multi-functionally.

Responsibilities

• Actively seek ways to establish and improve business software processes and interactions.
• Responsible for facilitating planning, tracking, and scheduling software results.
• Use a proactive approach to common challenges and continually researching standard methodologies in coding.
• Solve coding problems quickly and efficiently to ensure a productive workplace.
• Collaborate with team members to determine the requirements and the best solutions.
  

Required

• A university degree in Computer Science / Software Engineering or equivalent.
• Hands-on experience in software development using agile methodologies.
• Web development knowledge (eg. Angular, JavaScript, HTML, CSS and etc) and familiarity with cloud technologies such as AWS/Azure, and cloud deployments is a plus (ex: Kubernetes, Docker, AWS).
• Experience or expose in designing and developing of web applications and web APIs using Angular, Typescript, REST, ASP.NET Core or OpenAPI.
• Strong curiosity to understand and meet customer needs and expectations.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills to work across multiple functions, businesses, and geographies to help coordinate to meet project requirements, timelines, and product quality goals.
• Fluency in English, German is an advantage.
  

Desired

• Experience in facilitating agile software development within a team (Scrum).
• Knowledge about Object-oriented programming methodologies, message-oriented middleware, service-oriented architecture.
• Experience in serving life science markets and understanding their specific regulatory requirements (e.g. GxP, 21 CFR Part 11) is a plus.
