In an emergency, every second counts. Our aim is to provide our users with rapid assistance in as many emergency situations as possible. In close cooperation with our partners, and with the involvement of our users, we – the Connected Life team – are developing a comprehensive and easy-to-use emergency call solution – Help Connect. As the guardian angel at the side of our users, Help Connect can save lives.

• Think holistically: With our product Help Connect, we created an emergency software and service solution which can be integrated in the digital products of our partners and potentially can save lives. As software architect of the Connected Life team you are responsible for conceptualizing and specifying the Help Connect system architecture and for the selection of the software technology stack. You review and specify technical requirements and prepare effort and cost estimates for their implementation and operation.
• Integrated implementation:You ensure product SW quality, measured by KPIs and you perform code reviews. You are responsible for compliance with legal and operational requirements in the areas of open source, IT security, data protection and system architecture.
• Conscientious coordination: Within the Connected Life team, product and business development go hand in hand. In your role, you ensure that the technical solution fits to the strategic goals and business models. You will be the expert for technical aspects in the product team and support the improvement of the development teams with regards to SW design and quality.
• Experience cooperation: In pre-sales, you support the Product Owners in providing technical advice to the customer. You make the team stronger by leveraging and/or introducing frameworks and practices.
• Take responsibility:You support the team with deployment, operational and infrastructure activities.
  
  

• Personality: Independent and goal-oriented work, entrepreneurial thinking and flexibility.
• Working practice:You work analytically and in a structured manner with customers and the team. You have good and convincing communication and presentation skills.
• Experience and Know-How: At least 5 years of professional experience in an internationally active IT service company as software architect, software developer and/or technical lead. You have professional experience with cloud-based IT architectures and IoT services.
• Enthusiasm:You are enthusiastic about IT and disruptive service solutions in the IoT environment and you are excited by the idea of creating a product that can save livest, together with the Connected Life team.
• Education:Completed studies in the field of computer science or comparable.
• Languages: Very good knowledge of German and English.
