(Senior) Scientist* Translational Biology

Your Main Responsibilities Are

At BioNTech Delivery Technologies you will oversee and manage non-clinical efficacy, biosafety, and pharmacology studies and contribute to the assessment of novel pre-clinical models. You will interact directly with CROs and non-clinical pharmacokinetic and pharmacology scientists and as a Translational Scientist you will provide feedback from preclinical to carrier discovery.
  • Prepare, coordinate and execute investigational preclinical studies including PD, PK, BD and biosafety aspects
  • Interpret preclinical results for usability and limitations of technology
  • Feedback preclinical data into discovery programs and build predictive model
  • Implement and oversee biosafety testing during in vitro lead development
What You Have To Offer.
  • Ph.D. in cell biology, immunology, cell and gene therapy, or a related field, with 5+ years of postdoc and/or industry experience in translational research
  • Experienced in establishing preclinical models, ADME and tox studies
  • Hands-on experience with preclinical animal models is a benefit
  • Ability to present and communicate project updates at team meetings
  • High level of organization and reliability as well as independent, well-structured and precise way of working
  • High standard of spoken and written English with the ability to write scientific study reports on the experiments and studies performed; German language skills are advantageous
