A task that challenges
  • Leading plant design teams in projects for biotechnological, pharmaceutical and fine chemical production plants
  • Development of installation and piping concepts in the concept phase, consulting with customers to find optimal plant concepts
  • Installation, piping and steel construction planning through all planning phases (concept to detail engineering)
  • Supervision, management and coordination of installation companies on site
  • Development of required specifications
  • Responsibility for cross-trade coordination of equipment installation and piping routing
  • Management of the preparation of installation and piping plans, equipment and support drawings as well as isometrics (CAD 2D/3D, AVEVA PDMS/E3D or AutoCAD)
  • Preparation of quotations, calculation of planning and hardware costs
  • Execution of 3D model reviews, review of model contents with regard to technical conformity to valid customer specifications, regulations, GMP and EHS requirements, maintainability and operability
A background that convinces
  • Ideally - completed engineering studies, alternatively completed technician training with several years of practical experience in pipeline installation on construction sites
  • Experience in leading project teams in plant planning
  • Many years of experience in the installation and piping planning of production plants
  • Good knowledge of relevant standards and regulations
  • Familiarity with Autodesk Navisworks software
  • Communication and teamwork skills, initiative and commitment as well as a high degree of flexibility
  • Mobility and willingness to work on site for specific projects
  • Very good command of written and spoken English
