THE ROLE & THE TEAM

As aSenior Partner Platform Planning Manager, you’ll be pivotal in the Partner Platform Business (PPB)’s success. You’ll lead the planning and steering efforts for a group of partners, portfolios, and markets, driving significant growth. Furthermore, you’ll be instrumental in fostering effective business steering by providing transparency on top and bottom-line performance, and the key drivers that influence them.

The Partner Platform Planning and Steering team combines commercial and operational planning responsibilities, creating dedicated interfaces for Markets & Propositions, Partner Consulting, and Operational teams, while ensuring an efficient planning & steering process that is closely aligned with teams across the wider Zalando organization.

WHAT WE’D LOVE YOU TO DO (AND LOVE DOING)
  • You will drive the topline planning process for Partner Platform Business for a set of partners, portfolios and markets to build yearly and seasonal budget plans;

  • You will be working closely with the Principal Partner Platform Planner and Lead - Partner Platform Planning and Steering on setting targets across key commercial KPI’s and support their monitoring and review on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis with PPB leadership;

  • You will support the PPB Consulting team with business steering by providing insights on partner’s performance and growth opportunities;

  • You will lead the planning of key commercial topics (eg sales events) and lead program management and execution of key commercial initiatives;

  • You will work closely with your counterparts from Markets and Propositions to ensure that the commercial development of the Partner Platform Business is in line with the overall Plan.

WE’D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF
  • You have an MBA or master’s in economics, finance, engineering, statistics, management or comparable qualification. You have gained 5+ years of work experience in consumer-oriented commercial, financial or planning roles;

  • You bring strategic commercial thinking to the table, along with sharp analytical skills and a critical eye. You have strong technical skills in Excel and GSuite. Knowledge of SQL or other programming languages is a strong plus;

  • You have a good understanding of the Fashion e-commerce and platform dynamics;

  • You have great communication skills and can drive projects with different teams across the organization. You are business-fluent in English;

  • You have a strong bias for action and present exceptional stakeholder management capabilities, with a proven track record of fostering collaboration
