You will play a key part in taking the frontend of our product to the next level. We offer the exciting opportunity to work in a young team with a modern tech stack with the chance to shape crucial processes and take on responsibility early on. As part of the engineering team, you will:
  • Design and implement complex UIs, while maintaining and continuously evolving the best practices for code quality, automation, and testing
  • Collaborate with the other developers, UI/UX designer(s) and product owner(s) to add new features and enhance our platform
  • Take part in the requirement engineering early on by providing technical designs and feasibility assessments, planning implementation, and estimating user stories
  • Participate in team decisions, share your unique insights and ideas, and drive change
  • Mentor and coach peers and junior team members

Requirements

Essentials
  • 3+ years of experience in web development with a focus on frontend development (more is a plus)
  • Advanced knowledge of React.js and Javascript*
  • Profound knowledge of REST concepts and consuming RESTful APIs in the frontend*
  • Proficiency in designing state-of-the-art frontend architectures, while keeping up with the latest trends in frontend development*
  • Eagerness to drive value and have an impact from “day 1” including a hands-on mentality to actively help yourself and others
  • Ability to effectively manage the ambiguities of a young startup and strive for excellence without much supervision
  • Good verbal and written English
  • Candidates with intermediate knowledge should be willing to grow rapidly.

Nice-to-haves
  • Experience with TypeScript
  • Experience with CI/CD, specifically on GitLab
  • Experience with Docker
